GoGo Running Track Night
Track Night takes place at Barron Stadium every Tuesday evening from 6-7 PM. Runners of all levels are welcome to attend Track Night to have a social, yet structured, track workout.
The NCAA certified track at Barron Stadium is one of the nicest public tracks you’ll find in any town the size of Rome and is located conveniently near downtown, but that’s not the main reason YOU should come to Track Night. The main reason (2 reasons) Track Night is so awesome is that it’s always a good time and it’s led by an incredibly experienced and knowledgable running coach.
The format generally remains the same each week.
- 6:00-6:10 Warmup together on the track
- 6:10-6:25 Dynamic stretching & drills
- 6:25-6:50 Workout of the week
- 6:50-7:00 Cool down
From 6:25 to 7:00 kids can join Coach Jay for a kid-specific workout that is shorter than the adult workout in length, and after that they play games until the end.
Our goal at GoGo Running is to help people reach their fitness goals and stay healthy. If you’re an experienced runner Track Night is a great way to provide you with some weekly accountability to get your track work in and it’s a fun, social environment. If you’re a beginning or developing runner Track Night is a great way to learn new workouts, tips, and tricks to improve your running and reach your goals! No matter what level runner you are, Track Night is an awesome event and it’s always a ton of fun… So join us next Tuesday!
Staying tuned in to the GoGoRunning Facebook page is a great way to find out about additional events through the store and special events at Track Night. Several times throughout the year we have Vendor Demo Nights, when a rep from one of the major shoe brands joins us to explain the technology used in the shoes and lets you try them on during the run!
*Our next demo night is Tuesday, May 26. Swiftwick will be there, you should be too!
